Where are you located?

What payment methods can I use to pay my rent?

As of 01-September-2016, B&D Properties has gone to a cash free payment system. Currently, only money orders or a certified/cashier's check will be accepted. By late 2016, customers will also be able to pay using a credit or debit card.

How Much is the Security Deposit?

As of 01-September-2016, the security deposit required for a rental unit is $500.00.

How Much Is Rent?

As of 01-September-2016, our units are priced for rental at:

  • Small 1 Bedroom - $175.00 per week.
  • Small 2 Bedroom - $185.00 per week.
  • Large 3 Bedroom - $195.00 per week.
  • 3 Bedroom - $210.00 per week.

Is rent due weekly or monthly?

All B&D Properties rental units are leased on a weekly basis. Rent is due each Friday by 05:00 PM local time.

Can I pay rent on a monthly basis?

Rental payments are due Friday by 05:00 pm local time. You are welcome to pre-pay for 2 or 4 weeks if you wish.

Is there an additional charge for pets?

Yes. When the pet first moves into the rental unit, a non-refundable $200.00 fee will be due. Additionally, there is a $15.00 per month pet fee added to your rent.

Can I put an Air Conditioner in my window?

Yes. As per the terms of your lease and the park rules, window AC units are acceptable. Please notify the B&D Properties main office (contact information available here), as there is a $10.00 (per air conditioner) fee that needs to be notated on your account.

How do I get a repair done on my rental unit?

There are multiple ways to enter a maintenance request on your unit. The simplest way is to CLICK HERE and enter a maintenance request through our online contact form. You can also contact our office (contact information available here) during business hours and talk to an office manager.

Do I need to mow my lawn?

All B&D Properties rental units lawns are maintained by our in house maintenance team. We will mow and trim your lawn for you.

Can I landscape around my rental unit?

Yes. Please contact the main office (contact information available here) to discuss your landscaping plans prior to starting the project.

Do I have to worry about snow removal?

As stated in your lease and the community guidelines, B&D Properties LLC will only provide snow removal on roads and community walkways. If your rental unit has an included driveway and/or parking spot, snow removal on these locations is the responsibility of the tenant. Exterior stairs and walkways are the responsibility of the tenant.

I smell natural gas, who do I contact?

The vast majority of B&D Properties rental units include natural gas service. If you suspect there is a leak, inside or outdoors, first leave the building or the area immediately. Don't turn on lights or light matches to try to find the source of the leak yourself. Call NISPCO at 1-800-634-3524 from a nearby phone. Then wait for our crew to arrive until they tell you it's safe to return. After you have reported the gas leak to NIPSCO, immediately contact the B&D Properties main office (Contact Information Here) and let our maintenance team know.

I am having trouble paying my Rent. What options are available to me?

B&D Properties, LLC understands that sometimes life can throw financial complications at us. If rent is coming due and you may be in a situation where you are unable to pay rent, please contact the main office and speak with an office manager prior to your due date.
